Turrfa (Tarfa or Al Tarfa) is a relatively small residential neighbourhood in the Mughaidir Suburb of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Situated between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) on one side and Al Darari on the other, the community offers a quiet and accessible living environment. As part of the Mughaidir Suburb, Al Turrfa is an immediate neighbour of Al Rifa,  Al Tala and Al Darari. The community is also near the Industrial Area and Al Darari. Additionally, Al Turrfa is surrounded by several other notable areas. To the north lies University City, home to various educational institutions, while to the east is Al Zahia, a mixed-use area with residential communities and shopping centres. To the northwest is Al Taawun, known for its commercial and residential developments and to the west, Sharjah International Airport offers easy access to air travel. Mega Mall Sharjah situated in Bu Daniq, is a 14-minute drive from Turrfa and offers shopping, a cinema, a gym and various dining options. Another Mega Mall, located 11 minutes away, includes a cinema, gym, shopping outlets and a kid’s play area. These malls provide convenient access to various retail, entertainment and dining facilities for Turrfa residents and visitors.

Since Al Tarfa is close to Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The well-known venue is around 11 minutes away from the community. During the cricket season, there might be traffic on the roads so one needs to plan the trip accordingly.

Moreover, a little longer drive towards Cultural Square can take you to the museums if you are fond of cultural heritage and historical artefacts. One can access the Sharjah Science Museum within 11 minutes by car.

There is a community park right in the heart of Al Tarfa. It has jogging trails, playgrounds and shaded walkways as well as benches.

Turrfa does not have any bus stations within its vicinity, but there are several located just 11 minutes away. For those who do not drive, taxis are easily available for hire.
