PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN REEM DUBAI

As Reem community continues to develop, it will soon be a complete residential paradise offering all the basic living amenities you expect. As for now, it lacks public transportation inside the gates and it is best to go out and about via private taxis or cars. Getting a taxi is a good option, but you have to pre-book one for your way back home. The nearest bus stop is 10 minutes away in The Sustainable City Dubai. You can catch the feeder bus F32 from the Mall of the Emirates Metro Station.

AMENITIES, SCHOOLS AND HEALTHCARE

Being located at the prime centre of Dubai, quite a few amenities surround Reem community including one of the biggest shopping malls in Dubai. Since a number of projects like community schools, medical centres and shops are still in the pipeline, residents can head out to the popular ones nearby.

SUPERMARKETS IN REEM, AL QUDRA ROAD

Finding a supermarket in Reem Dubai is not an issue. Emaar plans to have a full-fledged supermarket for the community in the near future. Until then, one can shop at Spinneys on Al Qudra Road, which is a short 10-minute drive. It offers a variety of bakery and grocery items along with meat, fresh fruits and vegetables. Those who prefer shopping at Carrefour can find one in the nearby Remraam and Arabian Ranches 2 communities.

CHURCHES, TEMPLES, AND MOSQUES IN REEM DUBAI

Presenting a family-oriented and friendly community life, Reem Dubai is all set to welcome people from different cultural and religious backgrounds. Some community mosques have been established inside the gated compounds while a number of them are found in nearby localities. Masjid Abu Bakr Al Siddiq is one of the oldest mosques in Al Barsha South, about 13 minutes away from the community.

There aren’t any churches in Reem at the moment but it will soon have one. Until then, residents can visit Saint Mary’s Catholic Church on Oud Metha Road and International Nepalese Community Church in Jebel Ali Village. Moreover, Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara lies at a 22-minute drive in Jebel Ali, Al Muntazah.

SCHOOLS IN REEM DUBAI

It is planned to build a school in Reem Dubai which will be accessible via community walkways. Some reputable local schools lie in proximity including Jebel Ali School in Damac Hills offering British curriculum until Year 9.

Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS) is located in Arabian Ranches and offers the British curriculum until Year 11 and the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for the final Year 12 and Year 13.

There are some good universities in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) located 20 minutes away. This includes the Dubai campus of Zayed University, Al Ghurair University, Emirates Aviation University and many other internationally accredited options.

HOSPITALS AND CLINICS IN REEM DUBAI

Medical facilities are no exception to the master plan but until the project is completed, community members can access quality healthcare services in neighbouring areas. Some reputable options include Welcare Ambulatory Clinic, NMC Family Clinic, Life Medical Care JLT, and Jebel Ali Hospital.

Arabian Ranches, one of the most sought-after residential destinations is Reem’s next-door neighbour separated by Emirates Road.
