Mira, Reem

Located along Dubai Bypass Road and Al Qudra Road (D63), Mira is a villa and townhouse sub-community in Reem, Dubai. Developed by Emaar, Mira comprises 5 phases (Mira 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) featuring more than 18,000 residential units. The project was launched in 2013 and the last phase was completed in 2017. Just like the master community Reem, homes in Mira are luxurious with an affordable price tag.

Reem can be described as a modern desert oasis, and living in Mira allows residents to experience a peaceful environment away from the city rush.

Mira features 3-bed and 4-bedroom homes spread over 5 phases. These are spacious residential units with coverage areas ranging from approximately 2,500 sq. ft. to 3,500 sq. ft.

All phases of the sub-community have been delivered between 2016 and 2017, and Mira became one of the hottest residential communities in the Dubai real estate market. As far as parking spaces in Mira are concerned, all homes have a covered garage where residents can park their vehicles. There are dedicated parking spots on the street, in front of the villas and townhouses as well.

Residents mostly have to rely on taxis for transportation in Mira. The recently launched RTA bus route J02 also passes through Mira, with bus stops in all the phases. J02 operates from International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) and reaches Arabian Ranches through Dubai Studio City.

There are several community mosques near Mira in Reem. The Mira Prayer Hall serves as the main place of worship in the sub-community. Mosques in nearby communities include Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Mosque in the Al Barsha South area and the Sports City Mosque.

There are several churches near Mira located at a 30-minute distance, such as International Nepalese Community Church, Emirates Baptist Church and Christ Church Jebel Ali.

Likewise, Hindu Temples near Mira include Shiva Temple, Shrinathji Temple and Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir.

While Emaar is currently developing a school within the sub-community, there are several schools near Mira where residents can send their kids, such as:

Mira Town Centre

Residents can also head to the Ranches Souk in the Arabian Ranches 2. This a two-floor community mall with more than 35 retail outlets, featuring brands such as Sketchers, Claire’s, Mothercare, Virgin Megastore, Hour Choice, MAC Cosmetics, Holland & Barret and Mr & Mrs Button.

For a more extensive shopping experience, residents can head to Dubai Outlet Mall, which is located less than 15 minutes away in Dubailand. True to its name, this mall is a great place for those who love discounts. Top labels on sale include Coach, Adidas, Fred Perry, Mango and Aldo. The mall was launched in 2007, and as part of Dubai Outlet City, features up to 90% discount in its 240 stores.

The sub-community of Mira is located away from the bustle of the city. Those driving their own vehicles, however, can easily reach the city centre. The community is also a great location for those prefer an active lifestyle. While it’s true that one has to drive a bit to reach nearby amenities, real estate prices and rents in Mira are some of the lowest in all of Dubai.
