Al Reem is part of Arabian Ranches – a freehold community located in the suburbs of Dubai developed by Emaar Properties. There is no supermarket in Al Reem, the nearest one would be the Carrefour Supermarket in the Arabian Ranches Retail Centre which is 3 km away or 8-minutes away depending on traffic conditions. There are only two licensed restaurants in the vicinity, The Ranches Restaurant and Maison Mathis. Both are located in the Arabian Ranches Golf Club and offer a range of international dishes on their menu. Nightlife options in the area is limited to the Dubai Polo Bar in the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club which is just opposite Arabian Ranches and a 14-minute drive from Al Reem. Other licensed venues can be found in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and Dubai Marina.
Most beaches are 30-minutes away from Al Reem. Popular beaches nearby include JBR Beach, Jumeirah Beach and Kite Beach.
