MALLS IN AL KHAN
Shopaholics are never away from their favourite hangout spots. There are two full-fledged malls in Al Khan, the Al Arab Mall and Sharjah Mall. Another retail centre is Matajer Al Khan Mall.
Outdoor activities in Al Khan will mostly revolve around the local park. One good example is Khalidiya Park in Al Khan where there are plenty of swings, tunnels and jungle gyms for kids to enjoy. The park also has a large shaded area where residents can enjoy the park in the summers. Also, Al Khan residents can enjoy many activities at Al Majaz Park only a short drive away.

The area is always bustling with activities. Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Qasba are located in Al Khan. There are normally carnivals and festivals taking place in these locations. The amazing Sharjah Fringe Festival is also held at a location in Al Qasba on Al Khan Corniche Street. Residents often wait for Sharjah Food Festival at Al Majaz Waterfront and the Sharjah Light Festival which has multiple events directly on Khalid Lagoon. Near Al Qasba and Al Majaz Waterfront, both are tourist hotspots
