At the secondary school and Sixth Form level, VES prepares students for the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), A-Levels and AS-Level Examinations.

Victoria English School places the utmost importance on the safety of its students within and beyond the classroom. This extends to their safe arrival and departure to and from school. VES operates its own transportation for students.

Physical fitness is an integral part of the VES education model. Students participate in various athletic activities and competitions throughout the year. Victoria English School has a house system in place. Students are grouped into one of the four houses– London, Belfast, Edinburgh or Cardiff. Throughout the academic year, students participate in various inter-house activities and competitions such as:
Through these events, students gather VES merit points for their respective houses. The house with the most merit points will be awarded the house shield at the end of the academic year. This system encourages students to participate in scholastic and co-scholastic activities while encouraging teamwork and leadership.
VES students can participate in The Duke of Edinburgh International Award programme. The International Award welcomes students between the ages of 14 and 25 and challenges building their confidence, engaging with their communities, and acquiring life skills. Participants undertake an adventurous journey to win the award where they exhibit planning, execution and leadership skills in an unfamiliar and challenging environment.
Victoria English School regularly organises field trips. Students visit cultural and historical places of the UAE. They also visit parks, zoos and museums to take learning beyond the classroom.
