The admission process at Ranches Primary School is quite straightforward. It encourages parents to visit the school, check out the facilities, assess the environment and talk to the school representatives for information. Once satisfied with the facilities, parents can start the admission process.

Once the admission office receives the completed application, they will inform parents about seat availability. After paying AED 500 as an entry test fee, Ranches Primary School will ask the child to appear for the test to evaluate English and Mathematics skills. At this stage, parents need to bring the following certain documents:

• A copy of the candidates’ residential visa
• A copy of the birth certificate (in English or Arabic)
• A copy of the candidate’s Emirates ID card
• A copy of the candidate’s previous report cards for the last two years (if applicable)
• A copy of the immunisation record
• Four passport-sized photographs of the candidate
• Original transfer certificate from the previous school (if applicable)
• A copy of the educational report, assessment, psychological report or occupational therapy report (if applicable)

New students have to pay AED 500 at the time of registering before appearing for the assessment test. This fee is non-refundable irrespective of the outcome of the test. In addition, selected candidates have to pay AED 500 as a non-refundable one-time-only registration fee.

The clinic administers medicines for unwell children based on the doctor’s recommendations. They also refer pupils to follow-ups with medical practitioners or emergency services if needed.
