Overview

Radiant School was established in 1986 by the Sharjah Indian Ladies Association to serve Asian expats in the city.  The Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) owns and operates the school.

The school started with just nine students but now has nearly 1,000 students and 70 staff members. Radiant School follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum from Kindergarten until Grade 12.

Radiant School Sharjah is in Al Yarmook, an old neighbourhood in Sharjah with low to mid-rise residential buildings. Recently, the school was renovated, and the new building has several modern facilities. Although the school hasn’t been inspected yet, The Radiant School is one of the best Indian schools in Sharjah.

Radiant School Curriculum

Radiant School in Al Yarmook follows the CBSE curriculum. Primary section teachers work on the reading, writing and numerical skills. Little ones are encouraged to perform activities on their own but are supervised by teachers at all times.

In middle and secondary school, the Radiant School curriculum becomes a bit more challenging. Children are often engaged in extracurricular activities, field trips and assignments.

How to Apply to Radiant School?

Radiant School’s admission process is quite simple. First, you need to collect the application form from the school office and submit it along with the following mandatory documents:

  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate
  • Six passport size photos of your child
  • A copy of your child’s passport, visa and Emirates ID
  • A copy of both parents’ passport, visa and Emirates ID
  • Previous years’ (school mark sheet and TC attested) or nursery school reports

Once Radiant School receives all the documents and application form, your child will be called for an age-appropriate entrance exam. After the examination team has conducted a full review of the assessment and documentation provided, the school will confirm whether or not they can offer a seat.

If an offer is made, parents must sign and return the acceptance agreement and pay the admission fee. To comply with the Ministry of Education (SPEA)’s guidance, a Transfer Certificate and a Health Certificate must be submitted before your child joins Radiant School.
