New Indian Model School (NIMS) Sharjah is a project of NIMS group which also manages New Indian Model School Dubai, New Indian Model School Al Ain, The Central School and the Model School in Abu Dhabi. The school was inaugurated on 6th September 1982 by then Deputy Chief Minister of Kerala, C.H. Muhammad Koya.
New Indian Model School Sharjah follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the State of Kerala Curriculum from Kindergarten until Grade 12. It is a co-educational institute until Grade 5 after which boys and girls are taught separately.
