My Nursery, Abu Dhabi

My Nursery, established in 1991, follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for children aged 4 months to 4 years old. Over the years, the nursery has successfully prepared around 10,000 students for formal education.

In addition to the EYFS curriculum, My Nursery incorporates the Reggio Emilia approach. This combination creates an environment that fosters children's curiosity and promotes holistic development through exploration.

My Nursery in Abu Dhabi prides itself on providing a nurturing environment that fosters children's curiosity and offers a range of indoor and outdoor learning experiences. All campus facilities have child-friendly resources, such as wooden cabinets, toys and materials that are carefully selected for their safety and suitability for young learners.

My Nursery is located in Building 5, Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Park, near Zayed The First Street, Abu Dhabi.

My Nursery strives for holistic development by addressing every aspect of a child's growth. It creates a safe and nurturing environment to foster their natural abilities and talents.

My Nursery curriculum is based on the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. It also incorporates the Reggio Emilia Approach and Arabic Immersion.

The EYFS method revolves around seven key areas of learning. These areas are split into two major categories: prime and specific.

Prime areas of learning are:

• Communication and language
• Physical development
• Social, emotional and physical development

On the other hand, specific areas of learning include:

• Understanding the world
• Expressive art and design
• Literacy
• Mathematics

Moreover, the nursery uses the Reggio Emilia approach to encourage children to be independent learners. Additionally, it follows Arabic Immersion to teach children Arabic from a very young age.

Parents interested in My Nursery admission can easily book a tour by calling the campus. Siblings of current students are given priority during admissions. Re-registration is scheduled in January and new students undergo interviews and the admission process in February. Interviews are free, but the annual tuition charges include the seat reservation fee.

Parents must bring the following documents at the time of registration:

• Copy of child’s passport and visa page
• Copy of birth certificate
• Copy of vaccination card
• Copy of Emirates ID
• Copy of health insurance
• Four passport-size photos
• Copy of father’s passport

My Nursery, Abu Dhabi, has a range of extra-curricular activities. Students enjoy arts and crafts, music, water and sand play.

The nursery offers an extended day programme until 05:00 p.m. which includes both fun and educational activities for children.

The nursery prioritises the well-being and safety of students during school hours.

The nursery sends a weekly newsletter informing parents about upcoming activities and the latest developments. Moreover, My Nursery Sheikha Fatima Park arranges parent-teacher meetings to discuss children's progress.
