Monroe’s Nursery

Monroe’s Nursery is an early education institute that offers admission to kids aged three months to five years old. The nursery is located in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), one of the famous areas in Dubai. It boasts various facilities, including play areas, spacious and colourful classrooms and activity halls. Established in 2014, the nursery enrols kids under the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Monroe’s Nursery has a purpose-built campus. The hallways and classrooms of the nursery are decorated with bright colours and attractive paintings. It also has age-appropriate furniture to support kids’ academic and non-academic needs. The nursery has activity, music and dance rooms and a sleeping area.

The location of Monroe’s Nursery is Murjan 6, Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah Beach Residence.

Monroe’s Nursery curriculum is based on the British EYFS Framework. The method is used to improve children's literacy and numeracy skills. Physical and mental exercises ensure students are always engaged in different activities to learn about their surroundings. On the other hand, extra-curricular activities at Monroe’s Nursery enable kids to enjoy making friends and cheer on little achievements. 

Most teachers are from the UK, meaning the faculty has relevant knowledge, experience and skills to teach an international curriculum. The nursery also arranges workshops and training sessions to train teachers about new teaching methods. It also ensures easy communication with parents, making them active in their child’s educational journey.

Monroe’s Nursery in Dubai offers education to kids between the ages of three months and five years. It has the following age groups:

Babies	3 to 12 Months
Toddlers	1 to 2 Years
Nursery	2 to 3 Years
FS1	3 to 4 Years
FS2	4 to 5 Years

Monroe’s Nursery follows the EYFS framework, which focuses on seven areas of learning, including:

• Understanding the world

Monroe’s Nursery enrolment process is quite simple. The first option is to request an appointment to tour the facilities. While you are on the campus tour, the representative will highlight areas of special interest to you and your children. Similarly, the nursery will answer any questions regarding documents required, year/age level, Monroe's Nursery fees and policies. 

Parents will also receive a nursery brochure and admission information. However, the nursery can register the child online as well. Parents must pay a registration fee to put the kid's name on the waiting list. In addition to this, the following documents must be submitted in time with the online application and/or physically handed to the registrar’s office:

• Copy of child's birth certificate
• Copy of child passport and valid visa
• Eight coloured photos of the child
• Parents copy of passport and visa and 4 parents’ photos
• Copy of child’s Emirates ID
• Copy of vaccination immunisation record

The admission team will contact prospective parents once a place becomes available on the waitlist. They will be required to pay the non-refundable registration fee.

Monroe’s Nursery JBR offers several extra-curricular activities to students around the year. Kids can enjoy:

The nursery staff is always available to advise and work with parents to ensure a successful outcome. Monroe’s boasts all the facilities necessary to make kids feel at home. There are sleeping rooms and activity areas to balance sleep and waking hours. The nursery also follows a schedule mutually decided between caretakers and parents.

To ensure safety, the nursery has a few precautionary measures. The campus is secured via surveillance cameras that keep check on people coming in and out of the nursery. In addition, kids are engaged in activities under strict supervision from caretakers. Classrooms and educational resources are sanitised daily to keep the transfer of germs and bacteria to a minimum.

Monroe’s Nursery promotes parents' involvement in events held at the campus. Parent-teacher meetings are also held every term. This ensures parents are updated with the child’s progress and achievements within the class. During this time, they are free to ask any questions to the class teacher regarding the curriculum, activities and overall personal development of their child. Newsletters are sent to parents regularly to give detailed information on all upcoming events.
