Lycee Francais Theodore Monod (LTM) in Saadiyat Island was launched in response to parents’ overwhelming demand to open a secondary school for primary students enrolled in Lycee Francais Theodore Monod Al Bateen. The school opened in September 2020 and offers the French curriculum from Pre-KG (PS) to Grade 12 (Terminale).
The new campus with a capacity of 2,000 students is expected to provide a high-quality infrastructure with additional facilities to support Science, Arts, Cultural and Sports education.

It is a partner establishment of the French Secular Mission (Mlf) and a member of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) network.

The 5-step admission process for new students starts in January, while existing LTM School students can re-register in March. The steps are as follows:
If you are a new student (starting fresh at Lycee Francais Theodore Monod Abu Dhabi), please create an Eduka account. After you have made the account, complete the pre-registration form and download all mandatory documents. You are requested to choose your preferred campus (Al Bateen or Saadiyat Island) at this stage.
You are requested to log into your Eduka account for LTM families and create a new folder for a new academic year. Students are also required to complete the online pre-registration file and download all the necessary documents.
Furthermore, students living abroad have no deadline to meet when applying for admission. However, since seats are limited, parents must ensure to initiate the process as soon as possible. To avoid any delay, please upload documents in the right PDF format.
Once you have created the account and uploaded all relevant documents, the registration department will contact you by email to inform you if your file is completed or not.
If your child is coming from an approved French school, an appointment is not necessary. You will only have to submit the school report for the current year and the notice of passage via Eduka.
On the other hand, students coming from other schools will be given an appointment with a school management member. The meeting is approximately half an hour long. Both parents and the child have to attend the meeting and students applying from overseas will have an online appointment via Skype or phone.
An admission test is mandatory for all students. Overseas children will give the test online.
After your profile is complete and your child appears for placement assessment, the admission committee will sit to study the student’s file and assessment performance. In case the admission is successful, you will receive an email from the registration department. Parents must acknowledge the confirmation and pay the tuition fee within the specified deadline. In case you fail to reply within the deadline, your admission offer will be revoked and the place will be offered to another family on the waiting list.
Students who made it to the waiting list or were refused admission will be notified via email.
The school will confirm your registration through a final email if you have paid the tuition fee, submitted all mandatory documents and completed the file.
