The campus has ‘green buildings’, which means they are equipped with solar panels and sensors to optimise and minimise electricity consumption. In addition to this, paper prints are limited. Notebooks are made of recyclable paper and collected at the end of the year to be recycled. One will also find a greenhouse. Dedicated spaces and hydroponics allow students to grow vegetables and make compost as part of their ecology project.

Lycée Libanais Francophone Privé Meydan Curriculum

Kindergarten

The learning process at the kindergarten level is imperative for the success of elementary school learning. At this stage, little ones have the freedom and facilities to engage their mental and emotional capacity. It supports young students’ curiosity to learn and skill development through five major components.

Elementary School

Children's minds are forged and built, and the will to succeed is established in elementary school. LLFPM introduces knowledge, culture, and basic speaking, reading, writing and counting skills here. This information enables students to acquire meaningful knowledge,  cultivate themselves, and achieve autonomy.

Middle School

As soon as students enter middle school, i.e. Grade 6, the Arabic language is taught to native and non-native speakers. Students are also introduced to Spanish.

The main aim of the teachers in this section is to:

  • Develop students’ intellectual, cultural, artistic and sporting potential.
  • Provide educational and personal support to students in their learning.
  • Introduce them to interdisciplinary work by project and in teams.
  • Develop the resolution to live together in harmony, respect and solidarity between them.
  • Encourage teamwork, develop autonomy at work, stimulate creativity, give a taste for effort and recognise work well done.

High School

During high school, Lycée Libanais Francophone Privé LLFP prepares students for obtaining the general education baccalaureate. Here, the teachers aim to:

  • Provide their students excellent training in letters, languages, humanities and scientific, technological, and experimental disciplines.
  • Train the mind in abstraction, analysis, synthesis and critical thinking.
  • Introduce students to the realities and open up to other world cultures.
  • Provide the necessary means to build a personal project and a relevant and successful university orientation after the baccalaureate.
