Kids Academy

Kids Academy Nursery is a multi-award-winning British curriculum nursery with branches in the UK and UAE. Established in 2013, it offers outstanding early years education following the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Located in Khalifa City and Al Mushrif, the nursery provides flexible booking patterns and timings for children aged 45 days to 4 years and has received an "Outstanding" rating from ADEK.

Kids Academy Al Mushrif and Khalifa City campus are well-equipped and provide children with age-appropriate toys and learning resources. Both campuses have large indoor and outdoor play areas, gardening patches, jungle gym facilities, junior kitchens as well as dining and music rooms. Kids Academy also has a dedicated parent lounge where parents can sit and relax while watching their child on the CCTV. There is a library in the lounge with various interesting books for little ones.

Kids Academy is dedicated to providing exceptional childcare and Early Years Education. The nursery meets ADEK's regulatory standards and protocols to ensure comprehensive health and safety measures are in place. Al Mushrif and Khalifa City campuses offer children a secure and friendly atmosphere, with customised learning programs incorporating French, Arabic, Jolly Phonics Literacy Program and daily gym routine. The faculty has expert teachers who prioritise children's safety and possess pediatric first-aid certifications.

The nursery enrols children aged 45 days to 4 years, divided into four age groups to cater to their developmental needs:

Kids Academy follows the EYFS curriculum for children. It is a play-based curriculum with a broad range of knowledge and skills for children focusing on 7 interlinked areas of learning and development. The seven key learning areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum are:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

Kids Academy requests parents interested in admission to book a tour through the official website or by directly calling the nursery. The manager will call back to schedule the visit at the parents' preferred time. 

Parents can fill out the registration form during their visit. They must also submit the required documents, which are:

• Registration form
• Terms and conditions form
• Copy of child’s birth certificate
• Copy of child’s and father’s passport and visa
• Copy of child’s and both parents' Emirates IDs
• Copy of child’s immunisation record
• Two passport photos of the child
• Passport photos of mother and father

A registration fee of AED 1,500 must also be paid. For Kids Academy Nursery admissions, the child must be older than 6 weeks and younger than 4 years before the beginning of the academic year.

Kids spend their time in a variety of indoor and outdoor extracurricular activities. They engage in water play, sand play, arts and crafts, music and dance. Kids Academy is known to offer about 13 specialised programmes and around 135 themed activities.

Kids Academy Nursery, Abu Dhabi offers flexible timings to accommodate parents' schedules. In addition to 2, 3 and 5-day options, parents can choose from the following time slots:

• 07:00 am - 02:00 pm
• 07:00 am - 03:00 pm
• 07:00 am - 04:30 pm

All teachers at Kids Academy Nursery, Khalifa City and Al Mushrif are qualified first-aiders. A full-time HAAD licensed nurse ensures the well-being of all the children on both campuses

The nursery has introduced a parent app for communicating with parents. 

At Kids Academy Nursery, families are assigned a key worker who provides support and answers any questions parents may have. The key worker uses a child care app and portal to document the child's daily activities, such as nap times, snacks and developmental progress, which are recorded in a journal format. Once parents register their child, they receive login details to access videos, photos, schedules and daily updates on their child's progress.
