Home Grown Children’s Eco Nursery, founded in 2011, is a British curriculum nursery with campuses in Umm Suqeim and Al Safa in Dubai. As the UAE’s first eco-focused nursery, it blends the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework with a nature-inspired approach to early childhood education. The nursery combines nurturing care and eco-friendly values with traditional teaching, offering a range of academic and extracurricular activities that support holistic child development.
Home Grown Children’s Eco Nursery offers two campuses designed by experts to create a nurturing, nature-inspired environment that enhances children’s sensory, physical and intellectual development. There are activity stations that encourage child-led play, with a cosy gymnasium and library available for physical and quiet activities.
Emphasising outdoor learning, the Al Safa campus features a spacious garden with a nature trail, real grass, wooden play equipment, a sandpit, waterplay, a cycle track and a vegetable patch children help tend. An outdoor classroom provides sensory play opportunities with natural toys.
