Fun and Play Nursery

Established in 2011 in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Fun and Play Nursery follows the British Early Years Educational Programme (EYEP) for students aged 4 months to 6 years. It is reputed for its distinctive approach to early childhood education and childcare. The nursery also offers crèche services.

Fun and Play Nursery has well-equipped classrooms and activity rooms with age-appropriate learning tools. Indoor and outdoor play areas are also present.

At Fun and Play Nursery, JBR, each child is recognised as a unique individual. Hence, they get a personalised and engaging program. The nursery also focuses on learning through play.

As a daycare, Fun and Play Nursery ensures a family-oriented atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. Its primary objective is to instil essential life skills such as independence, kindness, respect, perseverance, confidence, enthusiasm and tolerance.

Fun and Play Nursery follows two distinct programs: the Early Years Educational Programme (EYEP) and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The Early Years Educational Programme incorporates age-appropriate activities and play-based learning to foster creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It emphasises the importance of emotional intelligence through peer interaction, effective communication, collaboration and self-awareness. Additionally, the curriculum includes activities that promote gross and fine motor skills.

The nursery also integrates the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This approach focuses on four themes, each supported by four commitments:

• Duly-filled registration form
• Photocopy of the child's passport
• Four recent passport-sized photographs of the child
• Photocopy of the child's birth certificate
• Photocopy of the child's vaccination record

The nursery offers activities like circle time, good morning songs and story time for language development. Hands-on activities like jigsaw puzzles, LEGO and magnetic boards foster problem-solving skills. Additionally, creative play activities such as building block towers and group sketching encourage teamwork and creativity.

Fun and Play Nursery offers part-time and full-time daycare facilities from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm. It has introduced a flexible crèche service where parents can enrol their children for specific hours to enable them to socialise and get used to attending a nursery before going for full-time enrolment.

Fun and Play Nursery, JBR, Dubai prioritises children's safety. Nursery gates are secured and locked at 09:00 am for enhanced security.

Fun and Play Nursery fosters open communication. Parents can schedule afternoon appointments to discuss their child's progress or concerns. Official parent-teacher talks are held in June, early meetings can be arranged if needed.

Furthermore, the nursery has an online portal called Baby’s Days, where parents can log in to access their child's photos, track their progress and achievements, sign policies and permission forms, view invoices and more. To get the login credentials, the parent must submit the details via an online form on the nursery website.
