Far Eastern Private School Curriculum

Since kindergarten is the first step in the educational ladder, the FEPS School tries to balance an organised, systematic, child-centred program and a syllabus-oriented curriculum. The foundation for further education is laid by developing listening, speaking, reading, writing and numeric skills.

Students aged 6 to 12 years advance to the primary section. Here, they are introduced to teacher-specific subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health and Education, Music and Arts and Computer Studies. Besides this, Far Eastern Private School UAE follows English as the first language. Arabic is taught as a compulsory second language up to Grade 10. Apart from this, students learn one more language – Tagalog or Filipino.

As soon as students are promoted to high school, they are challenged with rigorous coursework. Independent study, projects, group study, problem-solving tasks, and critical and analytical thinking are part of key daily lessons.

High school students are introduced to specialised subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Integrated Science in the Science program and Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry in Mathematics. Moreover, Research and Journalism, Consumer Mathematics, Statistics and Calculus are included in the curriculum as elective subjects in English and Mathematics.

Also, students may select a specialisation based on their aptitude, interest and school capacity.
