The English Private School in Umm Al Quwain was founded in 1983 with a handful of students and teachers. It moved to a new campus in 2009. Presently, the all-through school offers classes from KG to Grade 12.

The English School, UAQ is an all-through school offering classes from KG to Grade 12. The years offered are divided into four sections.

Central Board of Secondary Education, India (CBSE) curriculum is followed for Grade 1 to Grade 8. On the other hand, the Kerala Board of Public Examination curriculum is followed from Grade 9 to Grade 12. Islamic Education is taught as part of the curriculum for Muslim students and Moral Science is compulsory for Non-Muslim students.

The new academic year at English Private School starts in April and ends in March of the following year. English Private School academic calendar is divided into Three Terms – April to June, September to December and January to March.

Suppose the student was studying in India or any other school recognised by the Central Board of Secondary Education. In that case, he/she can take admission in the same class mentioned in their transfer certificate.

Fee for the academic year can be paid term wise, except for KG & Grade 1. The tuition fee does not include the cost of:

There is a cafeteria in the school from where students can buy snacks and lunch. Chips and energy drinks are not allowed in the school. Similarly, fizzy drinks and glass bottles are also prohibited on campus. Parents are suggested to send food that’s free from sugar or colouring agents.

The school clinic is managed by a qualified nurse. She is responsible for handling any medical issues students face during school hours.
