ADEK is an education regulatory body in Abu Dhabi. H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan established it in 2005. ADEK aims to improve and sustain the quality of education offered at educational institutes in the Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra and Al Ain regions. Through the Irtiqaa programme, it inspects the performance of schools every 18 to 24 months and issues a school’s performance report. It rates the performance of schools based on a specifically designed six-point scale. The scale varies from outstanding (best) rating to very weak (worst) rating. Admission Process

The admission process at Emirates National Schools MBZ is straightforward. To enquire about new admission, fill the enrolment form. Parents are required to provide the following documents:

• A copy of the candidate’s passport (UID number for locals and residence visa for foreigners)

• Birth certificate of the candidate (attested certificate if applying from outside the UAE, GCC countries, Europe, USA, Canada and Scandinavian countries)

The school partnered with Interact for catering needs. They offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options for students at affordable prices. The breakfast include snacks with complex carbs and proteins. Breakfast menu is as follows:
