Once all the documents are submitted, the school will contact parents for the entrance test or interview depending upon the grade for admission. The school conducts an oral assessment for admission in FS2 while written assessments for Grade 1 and above. English and math are part of the written assessment for Grade 1. Assessment for Grade 2 includes English, maths and other CAT4 requirements. Assessment for Grade 4 to Grade 9 includes English, math, CAT4 and NGRT. An entrance test is usually conducted in April or May. Interviews for AS-Levels are conducted in August.

Those coming from schools in Dubai do not need to get their certificates attested. Students applying from schools in emirates other than Dubai need to get their transfer certificates attested by the Education board of that zone. Those coming from Arabian and other countries (non-GCC) should get their certificates attested by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE consulate in that country. Those coming from schools in UK, USA, Canada and Australia need to get their certificates and letter attested by the previous school. Those applying from schools in Qatar do not need attestation; however, they need KHDA’s approval for admission in DGPS.
