Admission and Fees

How to Apply to Deira Private School?

Deira Private School’s admission process is merit-based. It is an inclusive school welcoming students from all nationalities. However, the entire admission process is done manually.

Step 1: Application Process

To register your child, fill out the online enrolment form available on the website. Once applied, the school will contact you with the assessment and interview session date.

You are requested to bring a copy of your child’s current school report at the time of registration.

Step 2: Assessment and Interview

On the day of assessment and interview, you are required to pay an assessment fee of AED 500. This fee is non-refundable regardless of the result of the assessment.

The assessment will be carried out for one hour. Students are judged based on their English and Mathematics skills. However, Foundation Stage children will be observed and interviewed by the principal or the FS coordinator.

Applicants will be granted admission based on their assessment, interview result and past or current school reports. You will be informed of the final decision via email, phone or in person.

Step 3: Admission Formalities

Once you have received an admission letter or a call from the school, you are advised to submit the following documents to the school.

  • A duly filled registration form
  • Eight passport size photos of the applicant
  • Two copies of the applicant’s birth certificate
  • Two copies of the applicant’s passport and residence visa
  • Two copies of the parents’ passport and residence visa (family book copy for Emirati students)
  • Most recent or current school report
