Creative British School Curriculum

Creative British School imparts education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 following the National Curriculum of England and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

At the primary level, CBS follows the National Curriculum of England. From Grade 10, students study the IGCSE programme, which trains them for the final IGCSE international examinations conducted at the end of Grade 10.

A-Level Curriculum

A-Level consists of AS-Level and A2-Level, which are the advanced stage of the GCSE qualification programme. Upon completing their O-Levels (ordinary levels), students learn the A level course for two years (Grade 11 and Grade 12).

In Grade 11, students appear for AS level exams where they are expected to pass a minimum of two subjects of their choice (same as the IGCSE level). The same subjects are completed in Grade 12 during the A2 level.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) is a government entity that monitors all private education institutes and their commitment to providing high-quality service in accordance with regulations. Admission and Fees

How to Apply to Creative British School?

To enrol your child at Creative British School, complete the following admissions requirements:

  • Submit the Online Admission Enquiry Form to register your child at the school. Parents will receive a Reference No via SMS upon successful completion (kindly note that registration does not mean confirmation of enrolment).
  • Parents can directly approach the school for enrollment or collect the token from the reception before proceeding to the registrar’s office to confirm seat availability. Parents can also collect the admission verification sheet from the Administration office.
  • The school will then inform the parents about the entrance test.
  • Upon successful completion of the entrance test, parents can inquire about the concerned test results in charge.
  • You must buy the prospectus and application forms from the Accounts Department and fill out the application form available in the prospectus.
  • Verify the forms and supporting documents at the Administration Office, then submit them for entry into the school system. Parents must also remit the initial amount to the cashier in the Accounts Department.

You may need to submit the following documents in A4 size. The mandatory list includes:

  • For Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2:
    • Three recent passport-size photographs of the student
    • Original Emirates ID card of child and two clear photocopies (both sides)
    • Clear photocopy of the student passport and valid visa
    • Clear photocopy of the student attested Birth Certificate
    • Clear photocopy of the Student Vaccination Record
    • Clear photocopy of the Student Insurance card.
    • Original Emirates ID card of parents (father and mother) and one clear photocopy (both sides)
    • Passport copy with valid visa of father
    • Passport copy with valid visa of mother
    • Clear photocopy of electricity bill/Tawtheeq or any document showing Premises ID.
    • Family Book copy (for UAE Nationals)
    • Copy of the original mark sheet of the final examination (ADEK Report Card for Abu Dhabi students) of the previous year.
  • For Grade 2 and above:
    • All documents as mentioned for KG1 and KG2 admissions.
    • Conduct Certificate from the previous school.
    • The Original Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate from the previous school.

The attestation requirements for the transfer certificate are as follows:

  • In other Emirate transfers, the educational authority must attest the Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate from the previous school.
  • In the case of overseas transfer, Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate from the previous school must be attested by the Ministry of Education of the country of origin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country student is coming from, and the UAE Embassy of the country student is coming from.

Please note that admission priority is in the following order subject to the admission committee’s conformation:

Creative British School encourages students to bring packed healthy lunches from home. The school does not have a canteen facility on the premises.

School Transportation at Creative British School

Creative British School Abu Dhabi works with the reputed Wheels School Transport company to provide hassle-free transport.

All buses have GPS and CCTV cameras installed to ensure the safety and security of students. Buses also have a dedicated support assistant that ensures students use their seatbelts, move to their classrooms safely and arrive home safely.

Annual transportation fee is AED 4,468.

Holiday Camps at CBS

CBS currently does not organise activities or sports camps during the holidays. They do, however, organise international trips during the Spring, Summer or Winter breaks. One memorable trip in the past was to Malaysia during the summer holidays.

Field Trips from Creative British School

Creative British School, Abu Dhabi organises excursions to local museums, parks and zoos within the UAE. These trips provide students with a much-needed beyond the classroom learning experience and a chance to have fun.

After-school Care at Creative British School
