Bloom World Academy is an IB curriculum school in Dubai for students aged 3 to 18. Managed by Bloom Education, it is offering Pre-KG to Grade 9 admissions in its first operational year. The managing body operates many reputable IB and American curriculum schools in the UAE.

Dubai’s Bloom World Academy will be the first-of-its-kind school with customised education and flexible school days for each student, making it ideal for parents. The school will be open from 07:00 am to 07:00 pm, and parents can even choose 09:00 am as the starting time. As stated earlier, families are allowed to select their timings.

Bloom World Academy has a state-of-the-art campus spanning 43,000 sq.m. The campus is designed and developed by Bloom but was previously owned by Dwight School Dubai, which is now relocating to a new place.

The campus is divided into various learning zones, such as the Science zone, performing arts zone and languages zone, with relevant resources and facilities to enhance students’ learning.

The Bloom Academy Dubai is based in Al Barsha South on Street 50. Brighton College Dubai and GEMS Al Barsha National School are other schools in the vicinity.

The best feature of Bloom World Academy Al Barsha South is its flexible timing to support children’s natural sleep cycle. The upcoming school will also offer customised education as per parents’ needs. Presently, the premium, state-of-the-art campus has a capacity of 1,800 students.

Bloom World Academy’s goal is to nurture students’ potential to grow and learn and make the world better. Students get a learning achievement passport with a personalised timetable and outlined support and challenges. Students may also get a personal tutor who oversees their progress and offers additional support.

Bloom World Academy Al Barsha South plans to become a K-12 school, but in its first operational year, it is open for admission from KG to Grade 9. The school is categorised into five phases: Early Years Centre, primary, middle school, seniors and the pre-university centre.

The sections are split into three categories based on the curriculum.

Bloom Academy follows the dynamic and student-centric IB curriculum for supporting the concept of “stage not age.” This means students develop their learning and knowledge not just according to their age or academic year but also to their interests, passion, and abilities. The curriculum embraces individuality and also brings academic rigour to practical life.

The school is yet to be inspected by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). We will update this section as soon as the detailed report is released.

The school offers a founder’s fee discount on the approved KHDA fees. It is applicable for the first three years of school.

Bloom World Academy fee also includes the cost of educational resources, school uniform package, personal learning device (iPad starting from Grade 1 to Grade 5 and a MacBook from Grade 6 to Grade 12) and a variety of school-led extracurricular activities.

The school houses a large multi-purpose sports hall, a 25-metre competition, a shallow training pool, a practice football field, two playgrounds and a shared competition field.

The shared competition field has a six-lane track and two multi-purpose outdoor courts.
