KHDA inspected Arab Unity from 27th to 30th January 2020. The school got “Acceptable” rating in the inspection.
According to the detailed report, generally students achieve required skills and knowledge as per the National Curriculum of England. Students’ achievement improves in their secondary and post-16 phases. They seem well-prepared for their next phase of education. Achievements in Mathematics, English and Science are comparatively better than Islamic Education and Arabic. Students show skills to become independent learner in their post-16 phase.
Social and personal development of students from FS to post-16 years are good. They demonstrate positive attitudes towards school work, teachers and fellow students. Attendance rate is higher in primary and secondary phases. Students have a good awareness of Islamic values and the culture of the UAE.
Teaching quality is acceptable overall and it is the best in the post-16 phase. Weak teaching was observed in the primary phase. Teachers deliver NCfE curriculum appropriately and support children in succeeding. Learning assessments are accurate in every subject.
School implements the curriculum successfully. It has a broad range of subjects and activities to address students’ skills and interests. Curriculum is enriched enough in some subjects to challenge students who show high ability.
The school has good provision for care, guidance and protection of students. Students are safe in the school bus and at the school. Security arrangements are improved since the last inspection.
Students of determination get support in many but not all lessons.
Leadership of Arab Unity is acceptable. Senior leaders seem to have a thorough understanding of curriculum, assessment and teaching but middle leaders are less aware. Internal evaluation are at times too generous.

Arab Unity School's admission process is quite simple. You have to fill in the online application form. Once the form is submitted, your child will be called for an assessment.
Admission will be based on the student’s performance in the entrance test. Also, Arab Unity UAE requests parents to bring hard copies of documents submitted via online registration at the time of assessment/evaluation.
