Al Amaal English High School (AEHS) is one of the few Pakistani curriculum schools in the UAE. AEHS was founded in 1988 as Al Majid International English School. The school was initially located in Al Sharq, Sharjah. However, to accommodate the increasing number of students, it moved to a new location in Bu Tina.
Al Amaal English High School Sharjah’s curriculum is designed by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad, Pakistan. The school provides education from Kindergarten until Grade 12.

AEHS School Sharjah follows the Pakistani curriculum based on the guidelines provided by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad, Pakistan. The primary language of instruction is English. However, Arabic and Urdu are taught as compulsory languages.
In kindergarten, students are taught by trained and experienced teachers. Little ones are introduced to literacy, numeracy and reading.
In primary and middle school, students are introduced to a bit of advanced syllabus. A typical selection of subjects at this stage includes Urdu, English, Maths, Science, Islamiat, Social Studies, Arabic, Computer Studies.
Senior students are introduced to teacher-specific subjects, group work, individual presentations, independent research activities, and much more. Frequent assessments and examinations allow students to meet the benchmarks set by the school.
Students are offered two streams of subjects in Grade 9 — Arts and Science. Electives are then selected accordingly.

Students are called in for an entrance exam once the documents are submitted. From Grade 1 onwards, the entrance exam includes English, Urdu, Mathematics and Science.
Please note that the result of the pre-board examination will decide whether or not students will appear in FBISE Exams in Grade 9 and 10.
