The park also has a large shaded area where residents can enjoy the park in the summers. Also, Al Khan residents can enjoy many activities at Al Majaz Park only a short drive away.

Residents often wait for Sharjah Food Festival at Al Majaz Waterfront and the Sharjah Light Festival which has multiple events directly on Khalid Lagoon. Near Al Qasba and Al Majaz Waterfront, both are tourist hotspots
