When it comes to public transportation in Dubai, along with the highly convenient metro service, there is also a robust bus transportation system in place, which is managed and operated by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). AREAS YOU CAN REACH WITH THE X13 BUS ROUTE
The X13 bus runs between Al Satwa Bus Station and Lulu Village, halting at a total of 23 stops in between. Let’s have a look at all the areas you can reach with the popular stops on the X13 bus route. There are additional stops on the route as well, to connect residents to multiple localities within the larger district.
AL SATWA BUS STATION
The Al Satwa Bus Station, or Satwa Bus Station, is located close to the Al Satwa and Al Bada’a areas. It is close to the Al Futtaim Mosque and the Jumeirah Mosque is also not far away. People who work in the Dubai World Trade Centre, Emirates Towers or any of the neighbouring buildings in the Trade Centre area can also opt for the X13 bus if they do not want to use the metro.
SATWA, MASJID
The next stop on the X13 route is the Satwa, Masjid bus stop, which is 4 minutes away from the first stop. If you normally get on at Satwa Bus Station and somehow missed the bus, you can still sprint to this stop and get on the bus.
SATWA, POST OFFICE
The next stop on the X13 route is at the Post Office in Al Satwa, which is only a few minutes away from the mosque.
Residents of apartments in Al Satwa are provided with an ample number of X13 bus stops in the area so that they don’t have to wait for or worry about missing the bus.
DHIYAFA, ROAD
The X13 bus takes a left turn from the Satwa Roundabout and heads on to Al Diyafah Street, where it halts momentarily at the Dhiyafa Road Bus Stop. This stop is close to quite a few banks, supermarkets and restaurants, as well as the Belhoul European Hospital. The Jumeira Rotana hotel is also across the road from this stop.
HUDHEIBA
The X13 bus moves on to the Hudheiba bus stop, after taking a right turn towards Al Mina Road. If you get off here, you can easily access the areas of Al Hudaiba, Al Jaffiliya and Al Mina. The Etihad Museum is also at a walking distance from here and so are a number of hotels, such as Ramada by Wyndham Jumeirah, ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira and more.
CAPITOL HOTEL
Moving on from Al Mina Road, the next bus stop on the X13 route is at the Capitol Hotel, which is quite close to the previous stop. It gives you direct access to the Filli Cafe, Al Hudaiba Park, West Zone Supermarket and a number of restaurants.
DEPARTMENT OF PORTS AND CUSTOMS
Another six minutes ride on the X13 route takes you to the next bus stop, which is at the Department of Ports and Customs. It is located in the Al Mina community and provides access to the Al Raffa and Al Mankhool areas.
AL GHUBAIBA BUS STATION
The X13 bus takes a slight right turn towards Al Ghubaiba Road, where it stops at the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. If you want to visit the Al Fahidi Historical District, you can get off here.
AL GHUBAIBA METRO STATION
Next among the X13 bus stops is Al Ghubaiba Metro Station, which is close to the Al Shindagha community. It is also close to the Dubai Creek and various landmarks, such as the City Centre Al Shindagha, Al Shindagha Museum, Heritage Village and the Cruise Terminals.
KHALEEJ ROAD
From Al Ghubaiba, the X13 bus route takes you to the Khaleej Road bus stop, which is roughly six minutes away. This will put you close to the Deira subcommunities of Naif and Al Rigga. From here, you can also easily reach the Dubai Gold Souk, as well as Naif Souq or Naif Family Park.
NAIF, INTERSECTION
The X13 bus briefly stops at the Naif Intersection bus stop, which is located on Naif Street. You can find a number of amenities and facilities close to this stop, such as electronic stores, medical centers, supermarkets and restaurants as well.
ABU HAIL, CLINIC
The X13 route takes you further inside Deira and stops at the Abu Hail, Clinic Bus Stop. People who live or work in Deira, generally get off at this bus stop as it is at a central location. The Abu Hail and Al Waheda areas are also nearby.
MAHLAB SCHOOL
The next stop on the X13 bus route is Mahlab School Bus Stop, which is close to the Century Mall Dubai, as well as Al Muhallab School and the soccer field. This stop brings you quite close to the apartments in Al Nahda and Al Mamzar.
NMC HOSPITAL
From here, the X13 bus travels along Cairo Street to the NMC Hospital Bus Stop, which is located in Al Nahda 1. Al Nahda is located on the border between Dubai and Sharjah, so people who live in the neighbouring emirate can get off here and find another mode of transport to get home.
AL NAHDA, CANARY BUILDING
The bus makes another stop within Al Nahda at the Canary Building on 7 A Street. It is close to many schools, such as Pristine Private School, The Central School, Al Salam Private School & Nursery, MSB Private School and many more.
AL NAHDA, EMIRATES COLLEGE
The X13 bus also stops at the Emirates College bus stop, which is close to a number of residential buildings and schools. People who live in Al Nahda can hop on the bus to go to work and come back home. This bus stop is only a few minutes away from the Al Nahda Pond Park.
AL NAHDA, MADINA SUPERMARKET
The next stop on the X13 bus route is at the Madina Supermarket Bus Stop, which is perfect for the people who are making a grocery shopping run.
AL NAHDA, MOTAWA BLDG
Another bus stop of the X13 bus in Al Nahda is the Motawa Bldg Bus Stop, which is a minute’s drive away. It is located on 19 A Street is also close to a number of residential buildings, supermarkets and salons.
DUBAI CARMEL SCHOOL
Dubai Carmel School Bus Stop on Amman Street is another one of the X13 bus stops. It is only a minute away from the Motawa Bldg and is adjacent to the Dubai Carmel School. It also allows commuters to head over to Al Qusais Industrial Area.
AL QUSAIS, PUBLIC TRANSPORT DEPOT
The next stop on the X13 route is the Al Qusais, Public Transport Depot Bus Stop, which is located between the Al Nahda and Al Qusais communities. People who live in Al Nahda get off here to go home, whereas people who work in the Al Qusais Industrial Area can get off here to go to work.
GALADARI DRIVING SCHOOL
A 9-minute journey takes you to the next stop, which is at Galadari Driving School. It is part of Al Qusais Industrial Area 2 and is also close to the Federal Electric and Water Authority.
AL QUSAIS, EPPCO VEHICLE INSPECTION
Moving along Amman Street, the X13 bus reaches its next stop, which is the Al Qusais, Eppco Vehicle Inspection Bus Stop. Located close to Muhaisnah 4, it is one of the last few bus stops along the X13 bus route.
RUSSIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
The X13 bus takes a right turn on 42nd Street and into Muhaisnah 4, where it stops at the Russian International School Bus Stop. It is close to St. Mary’s Catholic High School, Masjid Abdul Rehman Al Khateet, Russian International School and a number of residential buildings.
EMIRATES HOUSING
Just a short distance down the street, the bus stops at Emirates Housing Bus Stop, which is the second last bus stop on the X13 bus route. People who live or work in Muhaisnah 4 can easily get on or off here.
MUHAISNAH 4, NEW HOUSING
Last but not least, the X13 bus stops at the New Housing Bus Stop after taking a left turn from the roundabout towards 17 A Street. This bus stop is very close to the Wasl buildings project and is frequently used by residents of apartments in Muhaisnah.
LULU VILLAGE
Finally, the X13 bus reaches Lulu Village, one of the leading retail and department stores in Dubai. After your shopping spree, you can easily board the X13 bus and get off at one of the X13 bus stops closest to your residence.
X13 BUS DURATION, TIMINGS AND FARE
The entire journey from Al Satwa Bus Station to Lulu Villagetakes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, but the time can vary depending on the traffic and time of day. You can cover the entire journey in only AED 5, which is comparatively more reasonable than the other modes of transportation in Dubai.
