The World Tennis League 2024 (WTL) is back in Abu Dhabi for Season 3! Fans of the internationally renowned sporting event can look forward to seeing their favourite tennis greats in action. Here is all we know about the anticipated event so far.
ABOUT WORLD TENNIS LEAGUE 2024 IN ABU DHABI
The WTL is a mixed-gender team-based tennis tournament; the first edition was held in Dubai in 2022. This year, the tournament will feature 16 top-tier players divided into four teams: Falcons, Kites, Eagles and Hawks.
Each team has four or five players. The format of the game is round-robin to ensure that every player gets to compete with one another. This includes a women’s singles match, a men’s singles match and a tournament of mixed doubles. The two teams that come out on top compete with each other.
Like last year, Etihad Arena on Yas Island will host the event.
WTL 2024, dubbed “The Greatest Show on Court”, will include a round-robin in which the mentioned teams will play over four days.
