World Padel League 2023 in Dubai – The greatest show on court!
If the flourishing and immensely popular sport of padel has an adoptive home, it’s definitely Dubai. Residents of the emirate have fallen in love with this high-octane squash/tennis hybrid. One thing you don’t see in Dubai? An empty padel court! So what better place to hold the inaugural World Padel League tournament than the city of gold? ABOUT WORLD PADEL LEAGUE 2023 DUBAI
Being held in partnership with Dubai Sports Council, the World Padel League will pay ode to the sport originated by Enrique Corcuera in Mexico in 1969. The four-day competition is the latest innovation from the organising team that brought the hugely successful World Tennis League to Dubai.
As per Rajesh Banga, Chairman of the World Padel League:
“Our goal is to innovate and marry world-class sport with entertainment to give fans a unique and immersive experience. After the success of the World Tennis League and with the incredible growth we see in padel, specifically regionally, we are excited to live up to promise for another blockbuster event.”

WORLD PADEL LEAGUE 2023 – WHAT TO EXPECT
Taking place in June 2023, World Padel League will feature an exciting blend of fun, games and live music in Dubai.
ENJOY AN EXCITING SPORTING CONTEST
Witness the world’s top 24 male and female players – divided into four franchise teams – battle it out on court! Each team will consist of three three male and three female players who will compete against each other to qualify for the finals.
FORMAT AND RULES
- Each tie will consist of three sets: mixed doubles, women’s doubles and men’s doubles.
- There will be no more than two ties per day.
- The team with the highest number of victories will win the tie.
- Each team will compete against each other in a “round robin format” (each contestant plays against one another an equal number of times).
- The top two teams (with the highest number of wins) will face off in the finals.
