Dubai’s favourite contemporary art fair is back in 2025 for its eleventh edition. World Art Dubai (WAD) is one of the city’s most exciting art-themed events, where art, design and creativity are encouraged and showcased on a grand scale. WHEN AND WHERE?
- When: 17th to 20th April 2025
- Where: Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) – Hall 1 & Zabeel halls 1,2,3.
- World Art Dubai timings: 16th April, Wednesday (VIP Preview) 06:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- 17th -20th April, Thursday To Sunday 1:00 pm – 09:00 pm
World Art Dubai location is DWTC, located at the main intersection on Sheikh Zayed Road.
You can get to DWTC via car or public transportation. Free parking near DWTC is also available for those travelling by car, opposite the Novotel Hotel and the Zabeel Hall.
The World Trade Centre Metro Station on the Red Line is the closest for public transport users. It takes a 5-minute walk to reach the convention centre from the station.
WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS YEAR?
World Art Dubai is expected to showcase over 4,000 art pieces from 400+ art galleries and solo artists from more than 65 countries. Apart from this art showcase, you can also enjoy performances and award shows at the event.

Things To Do At World Art 2025
World Art Dubai 2025 is more than just an art showcase — it’s an experience! Apart from being a space where unique art styles and ideas are explored, there will be a host of talks, workshops, performances and panel discussions. Here are a few fun things you can do if you plan to attend the event.
Workshops
Looking for a new place to spark your inspiration? Partake in one of the exciting workshops offered at WAD 2025.
You can try your hand at various interesting workshops, such as Palette Knife Painting, Fashion Illustration, drawing mandalas and more. Workshops are included with the tickets.
Panel Discussion
Encouraging discussion on art has continually led to fascinating developments throughout history. This year at World Art Dubai, a number of talks on a range of topics in art will be taking place, such as on the impact of AI on art, building a personal brand, home art collection and more.

Performances
World Art Dubai 2025 will be hosting a series of stunning live performances. These include Japanese calligraphy, visual poetry, Chinese instrument and opera and many more
An exciting event that will take place is the WAD Awards, where artists and galleries will be recognised for their achievements. This is based on a series of submissions to the World Art Dubai committee. The awards include:

Textile Hub
A new event at World Art Dubai, Textile Hub (hosted by Handmayk) is a platform to showcase textile arts in various mediums, by artists all over the world. This includes tufting, weaving, embroidery and other innovation in fabric. You can participate in live performances, talk to artists, or participate in hands-on workshops with 14 artists from 9 countries.
The Artwalk
You’ve heard of catwalks – and now get ready for the Artwalk! Like a walk on the ramp, artists will show off their work on the stage. Are you ready to cheer for those artists? We sure are!
WAD Future Artists
WAD 2025 will host a school-based art competition for talented kids called WAD Future Artists.. Top student artists from several schools will use this prestigious platform to showcase their work and visitors can look at the pieces created by the next generation of artists.
This year’s theme is ‘Future Visions’ and children are encouraged to imagine what the world would look like 50 years from now. To envision their hopes, dreams and their world years later with creative expression.
WAD Mentorship Programme
WAD Mentorship Programme is an exclusive opportunity for Emirati art students to find mentors in the field. Once approved, you get to collaborate with a renowned mentor for three hours and learn how to navigate the art field and boost your skills.
World Art Dubai 2025 Ticket Prices
- The online entry fee for World Art Dubai 2025 is AED 30 for adults. A World Art Dubai ticket for kids aged 12 to 18 is AED 20. Kids under 11 get free entry.
- A 5-day pass costs AED 50
- Tickets are available on PlatinumList.
