Counted among the most popular wadis close to Fujairah, Wadi Al Bih spans across the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah venturing east towards the Oman border. The wadi is also known as the Grand Canyon of the UAE due to its unique rock formation and terrain. It is one of the largest in the Hajar Mountains.

One of the top things to do in Wadi Bih is without a doubt, the Wadi Bih Run. The ultra-marathon was initiated by John Gregory and John Young in 1993. Even after more than two decades, the relay race is popular and attracts hundreds of participants each year. The next Wadi Bih Run will be held in two majestic locations Dibba and Hatta. If you love to trek or take a hike in the mountains, Wadi Bih is your go-to place. The expansive wadi has many trekking trails where visitors can spend hours exploring the rugged terrain.
BIRD WATCHING

HOW TO GET THERE?
Wadi Bih is located near the emirates of RAK and Fujairah, just 37 minutes away from the tallest Jais mountain.
HOW TO GET TO WADI BIH FROM DUBAI?
Use the E611 or E311 to get to Wadi Bih from Dubai. If you’re driving from Downtown Dubai it will take approximately 90 minutes to get to the wadi by taking the E611.
HOW TO GET TO WADI BIH FROM RAS AL KHAIMAH
Take the Ras Al Khaimah to Wadi Bih Road, E18. Once you reach the old army campsite, look for a signpost for Wadi Bih. The drive will take approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
