These innovative pods, described as a hybrid between monorails and ski lifts, are slated to connect Business Bay and Al Wasl. The RTA has even partnered with a UK-based company, BeemCar, to bring this futuristic vision to life.

EXPANSION OF AL MAKTOUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
One of the major new Dubai projects approved this year is the expansion of the Al Maktoum International Airport. Work has already begun to increase the capacity to 260 million passengers, making it the largest airport in the world.
