Are you excited for the Ultra Abu Dhabi music festival? Back in October 2019, it was revealed that the iconic electronic music festival Ultra will be making its way to the United Arab Emirates. One of the biggest dance music festivals in the USA, this iconic music event is set to take place in the capital in March 2020. How and where can you get tickets to the Abu Dhabi Ultra Music Festival? And which electronic music artists are expected to make an appearance? Let’s find out.
What is Ultra Music Festival, Abu Dhabi 2020?
Ultra Worldwide is a major music festival that will come to the UAE this year as part of Abu Dhabi Music Week. The Ultra music festival Abu Dhabi dates are on the 5th and 6th of March 2020 at du Arena.
The two-day event is organised in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism and will bring together some of the biggest names in the music industry. The event will be part of the Abu Dhabi Music week — a two-week entertainment event scheduled to take place between March 1st to the 14th.
Ultra Music Festival Abu Dhabi Tickets
UMF 2020 tickets are currently available on the event’s official website. But they are running out fast, with those for most major categories — in General and Premium General Admissions — already sold out. Here is an overview of Ultra Abu Dhabi ticket prices:
- Tier 3 in General Admission: AED 640 (2-day ticket)
- Tier 3 in Premium General Admission: AED 780 (2-day ticket)

Ultra Abu Dhabi lineup
Ultra Abu Dhabi announced the Phase 1 Lineup for the first edition of their event back in December 2019. In case you missed it, electronic music artists in the first phase include Dutch DJs Afrojack, Dash Berlin and Nicky Romero.
Other international electronic music artists who will be appearing include Swedish DJs Alesso, Eric Prydz (known by his stage name Cirez D) and DJ Zedd.
Electronic music fans can also look forward to swaying to the beat of tunes by Grammy-nominated artist DJ Snake, KSHMR, 5-time DJ Awards winner Luciano, electronic dance music trio Major Lazer, Seth Troxler and the British DJ duo Sasha and John Digweed.
Other names have also surfaced in the days leading up to the musical extravaganza.
Newly announced acts on the list include Cesqeaux, Anfisa Letyago, Dr Phunk, Akladios, Kaaze, Scott Forshaw, MyKris, DJ Bliss, Omar Basaad, DJ Kaytek, Nic Fanciulli and Dish Dash.
These artists will perform across three stages at the event named Resistance, Ultra and Park. Headliners for Day 1 (Thursday, March 5th) include Luciano of Vagabundos, Eats Everything, Cirez D and Deborah De Luca.
Sasha, Seth Troxler, John Digweed, Anfisa Letyago and Nic Fanciulli will headline Day 2 on March 6th. Expect a techno powerhouse on both days.
In other news, DJ Nicky Romero will hold a DJ master class as part of the DJ Mag Conference. This will be the first full-fledged music conference in Abu Dhabi taking place at the W Hotel on March 3rd and 4th. Romero will host a two-hour session to help DJs improve their production skills. Other speakers at the conference include DJ Dub Fire, Mark Knight and Nic Fanciulli.
The Ultra Music Festival was first founded in Miami in 1999 and has since been held in different countries around the world. Previous stops included Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa and South Korea with the next one in Abu Dhabi expected to be just as successful.
