ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE UAE JOB SEEKER VISA
Many new rules regarding UAE immigration were announced in April 2022 and came into effect on October 4th 2022. These amendments have been one of the biggest shake-ups in immigration policy for years. Also, the job market in the country is growing rapidly post-pandemic. This is why the UAE government decided to attract young talent from around the globe to cater to this demand.
The good news is that the single-entry visa for jobseekers doesn’t require a sponsor or a host. You can apply for a 60-day, 90-day visa or 120-day visa.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UAE JOB SEEKER VISA
Those who are classified in the first, second or third skill level as outlined by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and have graduated from any of the top 500 ranked universities in the world (as per the classification approved by the Ministry of Education) can apply for this visa type.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and fulfil the prescribed financial guarantee.
Please note that the applications must be made within two years of graduation.

HOW CAN I APPLY FOR THE VISA?
Applications can be made via the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai website. Visit the website, create an account, and select the service to submit your application, including documents and fees.
If you are in the UAE already on another visa, applications can be made by visiting Amer centres.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION FEE?
The UAE job seeker visa fees are as follows.
- 60-day visa fee: AED 200
- 90-day visa fee: AED 300
- 120-day visa fee: AED 400
As per the announcement made by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP), the visa fee mentioned above does not include:
- AED 1,000 as a refundable security deposit
- AED 20 as warranty service
- AED 40 for collection and return of the guarantee.
