All About Checked and TruCheck™ on Bayut

Not only has this advanced solution enabled users to quickly ascertain the authenticity of a listing, but it has also helped agents registered with Bayut to maximise the visibility for their listings and hold more engaged conversations with prospective buyers and tenants.
WHAT IS TRUCHECK™?
TruCheck™ by Bayut is a comprehensive authentication solution available on Profolio™ – our exclusive app for real estate professionals registered with Bayut. It was unveiled at our inaugural real estate summit, the Bayut Big Broker Event in 2019.
This advanced technology solution has been built to eliminate one of the main challenges that property seekers encounter when searching for a property – knowing the availability and validity of a listing.
Using TruCheck™ real estate agents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi can easily validate the availability of property listings advertised by them on Bayut. Doing so helps the agent build trust with the end-users, increase the visibility of their property listing and obtain high-quality leads since listings with the Checked and TruCheck™ badge get ranked higher on Bayut.
A TruCheck™ badge on a listing is valid for a limited time period to ensure that the details are authentic and up to date. Users can also view the time-stamp on a TruCheck™ badge to find out how recently the property was authenticated in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This provides users clarity about whether a listed property is still available on the market, without having to contact the agent.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CHECKED AND TRUCHECKTM BADGE?
Authenticating a listing using TruCheck™ is a two-step process. The listing needs to first be authenticated with the ‘Checked’ badge before it can be displayed with the TruCheck™ badge.
To get the Checked badge brokers will need to download and fill out Bayut’s Validation form from Brokerpad or Profolio and upload it along with the Title Deed, Owner’s Passport Copy and Emirates ID. If the listing is in Dubai, agents can also upload Form A as part of the validation process instead of Bayut’s Listing Validation form.
The documents are then verified by Bayut’s quality assurance teams to ensure they are authentic. Once a property goes through this first level of quality checks, a ‘Checked’ badge is applied to the property.
After the Checked badge is applied on a listing, agents can initiate the second phase.
In order for a TruCheck™ badge to appear on a listing, agents have to physically visit a property and using the Profolio™ app, take relevant pictures of the property and submit them for approval. Agents have to be within 500 meters of the property to access the camera on the Bayut Pro App.
For an apartment, the agent will need to take the photo right outside the flat, with the front door open and the apartment number clearly visible. To TruCheck™ a villa, the picture has to be taken when standing inside the property.
Once a listing gets the TruCheck™ badge, users can then find out how recently the property was authenticated by clicking on the badge.
WHEN DOES A LISTING GET THE CHECKED AND TRUCHECK™ BADGE?
The Checked badge is assigned to a listing when the necessary property documents have been uploaded on Brokerpad and Profolio and authenticated by our quality assurance teams.
For the TruCheck™ badge to be assigned to a listing, the agent has to physically visit the property and using the Profolio™ app, photograph the property and upload those pictures on the spot. Once these photos are validated by Bayut’s team, the listing gets a TruCheck™ badge, confirming that the advertised property in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is still on the market.

Along with the property authentication feature TruCheck™, SmartLeads™ and Agent Reviews are some of the Profolio™ features available to real estate agents registered with Bayut.
