4. Checking out the Dubai Garden Glow is one of the things to do in Dubai this week
After the summer hiatus, the immensely enjoyable Dubai Garden Glow is back with a whole new theme to entertain children and adults alike. The illuminated masterpiece in Zabeel Park features hundreds of glowing installations and even has a Dinosaur Park with life-size versions of the extinct creatures brought to life using animatronics, like in Jurassic Park. There’s also a chilly Ice Park, for you to explore, which is kept at -7 to -8 degrees at all times. This year’s theme at the Park is “Glowing Safari”, so take your kids along for a fun activity in Dubai this week, where they can admire the colourful recreations until the actual Safari Zoo in Dubai reopens.

The Dandiya Night in Zabeel Park will be going on for two days, so put on your dancing shoes and head there to shake a leg to some Bollywood music. You might even spot a few celebs while you are at it!

10. Check out a newly opened nightclub at Five, Palm Jumeirah
Secret Room, which opened on September 21 has been building a good reputation in the party circles in Dubai, thanks to its swanky 18th century-style décor, complete with a stunning rose gold centrepiece designed by acclaimed architect Paolo Ferrari. As the name suggests, there is an air of mystery to the club, where access is only granted via a unique fingerprint identification, so clients can instantly access the venue on the allotted days. While this sounds super exclusive, you don’t need an invite to get access to the club. All you need to do is call and reserve in advance.
