SALT CAVE IN AL AIN – AN OVERVIEW
Salt Cave Spa in Al Ain was inaugurated by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan on 30th August 2023. The cave is covered with 16 tonnes of natural salt and is inspired by the salt mine in Krakow, Poland.
The cave offers natural treatment for at least 18 different conditions. Whether you’re dealing with arthritis, eczema, psoriasis or asthma, the natural salt environment is believed to support the body’s healing process.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Salt therapy or halotherapy, originated in Greece in the 19th century. Over the years, it has been used as a noninvasive cure for respiratory conditions and skin diseases. The Salt Cave spans over 171 sq. m. and offers different treatments to help people who suffer from allergies, anxiety, colds, congestion, flu, ear infections and hay fever, among others.
