Procedure to report for a lost passport in Dubai
- Visit the nearest police station
- Fill out a form and submit the documents
- Get a police report
- Get the report stamped or endorsed by Dubai Courts
- Besides Dubai Courts, bring the report to the Public Prosecution Department
- Take it to GDRFA and submit AED 20 as the fee (fee subject to change)
- Go back to the police station where you filed a report
- Get a ‘lost passport’ certificate from them
- Take the certificate to your respective embassy and get a new passport
- Once you get a new passport, visit the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). GDRFA will issue you a new visa.
