The upscale area received 20% of total searches for apartments for sale in Dubai. Investing here makes the most sense as it is also the hottest areas for renting apartments and extremely popular with western expats. Downtown Dubai, one of the most glamorous neighbourhoods in the world, was the second most popular with people on the lookout for apartments in the city with 17% share of the queries.

It was followed by Jumeirah Lakes Towers that took home 8% share of the search inquiries, while Dubai Silicon Oasis was on the fourth spot after claiming 6% of all inquiries for on-sale apartments in the emirate. The top 5 list was rounded up by Palm Jumeirah. The iconic neighbourhood, one of the most exclusive addresses in the world, accounted for 5% percent of the searches on our website.

Villas in Dubai offer the perfect setting for raising a family, as the security and facilities in villa communities offer plenty of avenues for kids and adults to head outdoors and engage in an active lifestyle. Per search inquiries received December 2016, the area where most inquirers were interested in buying villas was Dubailand, which accounted for 18% of all hits. Though its away from the city centre, Dubailand offers high quality units that provide complete lifestyle solutions and a peaceful environment. With a 12% share of inquiries, Arabian Ranches was on the second spot in December. Villas on the Palm Jumeirah, with their dedicated private beaches, were on the third place with a 9% share of the searches, followed by Emirates Hills that attracted 6% and The Springs that received 5% of the total enquiries for villas for sale in Dubai.

Being the regional business and commercial hub, office spaces in Dubai remain in demand throughout the year. According to our database, Business Bay had a clear monopoly in office space segment of Dubai, with the locality taking a majority 55% share of queries in December. Spaces in Business Bay not only score high points for being easily accessible, but also have an edge over other as they are built with specific needs of an office setting in mind. A distant second in the category was Jumeirah Lakes Towers that received 26% share of the search inquiries. Downtown Dubai and DIFC grabbed the third and fourth spots with 4% share in the query aggregate, while Dubai Marina took home the fifth position in our list of top five most popular localities for buying office spaces in Dubai.
