ABOUT PRISON ISLAND ABU DHABI
Based on a unique concept, Prison Island Abu Dhabi Mall has rapidly become a popular destination for family-friendly activities in Abu Dhabi. The 1,000 sq. m. facility consists of 26 exciting and varied challenges, with the aim being to solve these rooms/cells, collect team points, and ultimately ”Beat the Bars”!! Tis the perfect fun hub to celebrate a birthday or host a team-building event. The venue can easily accommodate up to 120 participating people at any one time.
HOW IT WORKS
Ready for life behind bars? Here’s how it all goes down at Prison Island:
- Divide into teams of 3 or 4 players.
- Choose your team name and register.
- Receive your electronic key from the guards.
- Start with the cells marked by a green light. Take them on in any order you like.
- Each cell is ranked according to its difficulty level in three categories – technicality, tactics, physics – and the challenges are worth varying numbers of points.
- Each cell has a time limit. If the light goes red, you’ve failed the challenge. If the light goes blue, you’ve triumphed and the points are saved to your electronic key.
- When you’ve experienced all the cells (or as many as you want to), return your key to the guards and they’ll let you know if you’ve officially ”Beaten the Bars” and won your freedom!
ACTIVITIES IN THE PRISON ISLAND ABU DHABI CELLS
The prison cells are a work of genius. To beat each cell, you and your friends will have to be fast thinkers. There are different types of activities in each room of Prison Island Abu Dhabi.
Highlights include Cliffhanger, which requires you to make your way through a series of obstacles while ensuring that you do not touch the floor. Another toughie is Devil’s Island, where you’ll have to snake through latticework to clear a laser grid.
Gates requires serious skill as you carefully navigate a ball through various precariously balanced tubes and entry points, whilst Flash Dance tests inmates physical and mental co-ordination as they leap between specified floor squares.
TICKETS AND PRICES
The ticket prices for Prison Island start from AED 125 per adult and AED 105 per child. The details of the hourly packages are as follows:
- 1-hour game: AED 105 to AED 125
- 2-hour game: AED 159 to AED 199
- 3-hour game: AED 199 to AED 249
