All about the Palm Fountain – The World’s Largest Fountain in Dubai
Palm Fountain at The Pointe recently entered the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest fountain. This latest addition to Dubai’s awe-inspiring collection of attractions was launched on 22 October 2020. Here’s what you need to know about it.

ABOUT PALM FOUNTAIN AT THE POINTE
Located at The Pointe in Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Fountain spans over 14,000 sq.ft of water. The fountain’s highest water shooters stand 105m tall. There are also 3,000 LEDs to create a magical show of dancing colourful lights and water. The entire performance of the fountain is enhanced with a revved-up audio system powered by 86 speakers.
This multi-coloured fountain on Palm Jumeirah has been named “Palm” Fountain as an ode to Dubai’s resilience. The fountain is divided into two parts that create a mirror image on the east and west promenades of The Pointe. This record-breaking fountain promises a mesmerising experience and is easily accessible for those living in the villas for rent in Palm Jumeirah.
THE WORLD’S LARGEST FOUNTAIN
Previously, the Dubai Fountain at Dubai Mall had the distinction of being the largest fountain in the world. This successful attempt at breaking the record on its launch has conferred this title onto the Palm Fountain Dubai, making Dubai Fountain slide to the second spot.
The Guinness World Records’ Senior Marketing Manager for the MENA region, Shaddy Gaad was reported saying,
“This fountain is an example of another milestone in Dubai’s architectural achievements and we are excited to declare it Officially Amazing™.”
THE PALM FOUNTAIN LAUNCH AT THE POINTE
The Palm Fountain at The Pointe launched on Thursday, 22 October 2020. The Palm Fountain’s debut performance entailed 20 choreographed songs from various genres that include pop, cultural, local and international music.
PALM FOUNTAIN SHOW TIMINGS
Spectators can watch the dancing fountain show for FREE. Post launch, there will be five Palm Fountain every single night, with a variety of 20 different shows. So, even if you come back every single night for four consecutive days, chances are that you’ll see a new show every time!
The Palm Fountain at The Pointe will conduct 3-minute shows from sunset to midnight. There will be a 30-minute interval between two shows.
