The stroke of midnight on January 1st is a particularly unique moment in life. It sounds a goodbye to everything that we have experienced in the past 12 months and says ‘Hello!’ to everything we could achieve in the future. Whether it is to expand our family, open up a new restaurant, buy that property we always dreamed of, it all looks possible in that single, magic moment. That’s what New Year’s Resolutions are all about.

The hands of the clock meet, we take our first breath of the year and we exhale what is often sheer exuberance. One voice in a crowd of billions. New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Dubai… The world unites, for once, as members of all ages, races and nationalities meet to turn the new page together…
