Are you considering attending the New Year’s Eve fireworks display in Ras Al Khaimah? This year, the emirate aims to break more world records with its 15-minute show, which features three acts. Many residents are excited to witness it.
That’s right. Ras Al Khaimah is all set to organise spectacular fireworks shows to welcome 2025. The fireworks event is free but requires pre-registration (see below)! This year, the fireworks display will be an extravagant celebration of colour comprising pyrodrones, laser lights and shapes choreographed to electric beats.
The NYE event, featuring a dazzling display of fireworks and laser drones, will showcase the beauty of Ras Al Khaimah’s natural and cultural heritage. This unique combination of drone artistry and innovative laser technology promises to be an unforgettable experience. The RAK NYE Festival will take place along the coastline between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village. With this dazzling fireworks display, RAK will aim to break the world record this year.
On New Year’s Eve, the residents of Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village, as well as those staying in nearby hotels or enjoying gala dinners, will be able to access the area. You can also camp under the stars for the New Year in RAK 2025 at the dedicated caravan and RV parking areas in the Dhaya parking zone.
That’s not all. The fireworks display on New Year in Ras Al Khaimah 2025 will be preceded by an electrifying concert by top artists and DJs, including DJ Bia, Al Mukhtar and Fahmil Khan Band. Expect carnival-esque performances, food trucks and more.

MANDATORY REGISTRATION AND PARKING INFO
The Ras Al Khaimah Police has advised drivers to obtain parking permits to access Al Marjan Island. To attend the show, it is necessary to register your vehicle for parking as there is a limited number of spaces and pre-registration is compulsory.
Individuals interested in attending must register at https://raknye.com.
After completing the registration form, select your expected arrival time and click the submit button. You will then receive a confirmation message containing parking information and arrival instructions via WhatsApp and email.
Remember that only pre-registered vehicles will be allowed to enter Marjan Island. As of 02:00 pm on December 31st, all vehicles wishing to access the island must possess a valid registration permit.
Visitors who are staying in the hotels or dining at the restaurants on the island will be provided with a unique registration link by their booking service to complete the registration process.
According to the authorities, parking spots will be allocated depending on their availability. Here are the number of parking spaces in each assigned zone.
