HOTELS OPENING IN DUBAI IN 2024
Dubai is well-known for its glitz and glamour. From fine dining restaurants operated by award-winning celebrity chefs to an immensely successful luxury hospitality industry, visitors and even residents are spoilt for choice. Now, more amazing hotels and resorts are headed our way, and you can expect these exciting additions to open soon in Dubai.
Here’s a look at all the resorts and hotels that are expected to open their doors to guests in 2024.
One&Only One Za’abeel
One & Only One Za’abeel is a dual-tower marvel designed by Japanese architect duo Nikken Sekkei. This hotel has 229 hotels and suites, each tastefully decorated with muted colours and simple artwork to create a feeling of tranquillity for the guests residing there.
There are also showstoppers in the residences, such as the two-storey Sama Signature Duplex Suite and the 775 sq. m. penthouse with its own majlis, infinity pool, cinema gym and a private chef — epitomes of luxury.
Apart from hotels and suites, One & Only One Za’abeel has 94 1, 2 and 3-bedroom residences. These residents have access to the hotel facilities, making it an ideal home for individuals looking for peak luxury right at home.
One & Only One Za’abeel will have 11 restaurants and bars, along with Dubai’s sole branch of Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie. This Swiss wellness brand will offer signature fitness facilities, wellness and aesthetics treatments and healthy food options.
Another highlight is The Link, a bridge that will connect both towers and have restaurants and a buzzing nightclub. The bridge will be the world’s longest cantilever and will definitely be the coolest spot to chill in Dubai.

The Lana, Dorchester Collection
One of the most highly anticipated openings in 2024, The Lana is a part of the renowned Dorchester Collection. We’re familiar with this brand from their gorgeous residences at One at Palm Jumeirah, and we are excited to see what The Lana will offer in terms of opulence and lifestyle.
The Lana is located on the Dubai Canal, near Business Bay, combining the elements of urban life with waterfront views. It features 225 beautifully crafted luxurious rooms, of which 69 are suites. Look out for the 29 waterfront rooms, coming with their own lovely terraces and infinity pool.
Foster and Partners designed these gold, beige, and olive-themed rooms, which offer striking views of the Burj Khalifa and beyond. The Lana also has a host of amenities that add to the experience, such as a garden lounge, pool, gym, spa and rooftop lounge. There will also be a Mediterranean restaurant and a patisserie offering great food and vibes.

SIRO ZA’ABEEL
Athletes, listen up! A new destination for rejuvenation and recovery is calling your name! Say hello to Siro Za’abeel.
Located in One Za’abeel development (Dubai World Trade Centre area), Siro is a part of Kerzner International’s fabulous portfolio of hotels – one of them being Atlantis Hotels.
The Siro brand of hotels aims to be Dubai’s first ‘fitness and recovery destination’, offering guests various facilities and amenities for a giant reset. Highlights include Fitness and Recovery Labs, with top-notch equipment, including stretching accessories, treatment rooms, and bathtubs overlooking the city. Access all sorts of treatments, such as sports massages, dry needling, cold plunges, cryotherapy and more. And don’t worry about how you’ll go about with things – the SIRO team will create tailored fitness and recovery plans based on your personal needs.
The rooms, too, play a role in enhanced fitness and recovery. Each room is scientifically designed to reduce jet lag, improve your sleep quality and enhance your mood.

Upcoming New Hotels In Dubai
It’s time to look at the fabulous hotels that may potentially open in 2024. We’re yet to hear an official date for these launches.
FIVE LUXE
FIVE LUXE is a brand new hotel that will open in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). It is a part of the FIVE Resorts and Hotels brand, known for the fabulous FIVE Jumeirah Village and FIVE the Palm.
FIVE LUXE will open in the first quarter of 2024. All eyes are on this sprawling beachfront property with a private beach. This hotel will have 222 rooms and suites, 276 serviced apartments, seven restaurants, a beach club and a social pool.
The most exciting highlight of this hotel is the Lío Ibiza, a club concept with massive success in Ibiza, London, Las Vegas and Mykonos. This club will be offering a unique perspective to cabarets, with performances that guarantee nights of wild dancing and partying. And it will be constructed in the form of a 35,000 sq. ft. dome, called the ‘Pearl of Dubai’. Its unique design, which looks like a shell floating on the sea, will add to the urban beauty of Jumeirah Beach Residence. We expect that this hotel will soon be the next party spot in Dubai!
FIVE LUXE will also offer means to relax and rewind, with the ReFIVE Spa, gym, beach club, padel court, and indoor and outdoor pools. We’ve got our hopes high for this new destination in Dubai.

Ciel Tower
Currently, the world’s tallest hotel is Gevora Hotel, located on Sheikh Zayed Road. This will be overtaken by Ciel Tower, a development that’s on its way to being the talk of the town.
Ciel Tower is to be 265 metres tall, with 82 floors and will have a total of 1,209 rooms and residences. It is located in Dubai Marina, offering stunning views of the waters and blue skies alongside top-notch luxury options.
Highlights of this new hotel opening in Dubai will be the Ciel Observatory and Lounge on the 81st floor. This will be a place for residents to peek out and see the sky, soak in the views, and indulge in good food.
There will be a Sunset Lounge on the 74th floor and a Horizon Bar on the 76th floor — each offering guests a chance to chill and rewind with a drink or two while soaking in the magnificent views.
There will also be a lot of recreation and fun offered at Ciel Towers, such as a luxury spa, infinity pool, signature restaurant, bar and more. An interesting fact about this building is that it was designed with well-being in mind, so a combination of natural ventilation and landscape was added.
This translates to green walls and atrium gardens. During the winter months, residents can enjoy the sea breeze as the glass facade is programmed to let air into this garden. It sounds like a very refreshing retreat that’ll transform the hotel experience.

Mama Shelter
With several branches across the world — including London, Belgrade and Paris — Mama Shelter is now coming to Dubai, at the happening Business Bay.
This 27-story building will offer both hotels and residences, along with various restaurants and boutiques. A development by Ennismore, Mama Shelter will feature 201 well-designed rooms and 80 apartments with one and 2-bed options. These serviced apartments are to be a part of Mama Residences, for those seeking the funky colours and hospitality of a Mama Shelter right at home.
The hotels will be managed by Accor Group, a brand known for its excellent hospitality and quality service. There will be a host of amenities available, including four outdoor pools, an amphitheatre and an entertainment zone. Party lovers will have quite a bit to do, with poolside bars and a DJ tower ensuring maximum fun.

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab
Jumeirah Group is ready to stun us again, this time with the much-awaited Marsa Al Arab. Prepare for an eye-catching look. The designers were inspired by the look of a super yacht to create this awe-inspiring new hotel opening in Dubai. This will be in theme with the wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel and add to the iconic Dubai skyline.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will feature 386 rooms and suites, 83 luxury hotel apartments, suites and four penthouses. Each room is spacious, with views of the pristine waters of the Burj Al Arab and will have beautiful terraces for that refreshing breath of fresh air.
Highlights of this luxury hotel in Dubai include the private beach and five pools — one large circular pool and a family infinity pool, among others —along with several state-of-the-art wellness options. There will be a three-storey spa, which will have 13 treatment rooms, with private terraces and women-only spaces.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will also be a foodie paradise, with various restaurants and cuisine available. There will be ten restaurants and nine bars, with brand names such as 7 Management (known for Seven Sisters and February 30) and Kun taking the reins. We have yet to hear more updates about the restaurants opening here, so stay tuned!

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai
Another stunner to join Palm Jumeirah’s list of luxury hotels, Six Senses The Palm Dubai promises grandeur and relaxation on its premises.
Six Senses the Palm is a development by Select Group and will be located on the Palm’s West Crescent. It will feature 61 luxury hotel rooms and 162 serviced apartments.
These service apartments are a part of the Six Senses Residences The Palm, branded homes which also include Penthouses, Royal Penthouses, and duplex Sky Villa, along with beachfront villas. The latter, a series of nine villas, will have a private garden, infinity pool and gorgeous Palm views.
The lifestyle offerings at this hotel are what really speaks volumes. Look out for Six Senses Spa and Longevity Centre, offering holistic wellness and beauty treatments that’ll have you feeling refreshed. Other highlights include a library, gym, tennis courts, squash courts, pools and a private beach.
Expect an array of sustainably-driven restaurants and bars. In addition, there will also be impressive sports and leisure facilities. These include a gym, squash court, pools and a dedicated private beach.
At Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, there will also be a signature Six Senses Spa, a library, a kids club and a longevity centre. We’re sure a stay here will have you feeling more connected to nature and grounded, thanks to the many facilities offered.

Kempinski Floating Palace
A development that has been in the works for a while, the Kempinski Floating Palace has to be the most concept on this list. Why? Because this new hotel opening in Dubai will be floating on water!
Kempinski, the luxury hospitality group, has designed this luxury hotel to include a hotel building and twelve floating luxury villas. These buildings will be initially anchored at Jumeirah Beach Road, from which guests can arrive by boat, helicopter or yacht.
There will be 156 rooms and suites available at this floating building, along with a range of amenities. The two-storey villas are available in 2, 3 and 4-bedroom options that will come with their own terraces and infinity pools. A range of amenities will be available at this hotel, including spas, pools, four awesome restaurants, bars and more.

Fairmont Dubai Skyline
A collaboration between Accor and RSG, Fairmont Dubai Skyline is all set to be a classy luxury hotel and holiday hot spot. Fairmont Dubai Skyline will be situated in be an awe-inspiring 54-story tower located at Sufouh Gardens, that will also feature 121 residences, including two and three-bedroom serviced apartments.
Along with the fabulous residences, amenities include a spa, fitness centre, golden lounge, restaurant and bar. This new hotel opening in Dubai will be all about crafting a great experience for guests and residents.
What’s interesting about this building is the asymmetrical balconies, which look pretty cool from the outside and will offer a unique space for guests. The balconies are primed to offer spectacular views of Dubai’s iconic skyline, hence the name of the hotel.

Mandarin Oriental, Wasl Tower
You’ve probably heard of Wasl Tower, a striking upcoming development on Sheikh Zayed Road. Wasl Tower has become a place of interest owing to its unique structure – a twisty, asymmetrical skyscraper with the region’s tallest ceramic façade. This design will create an illusion of dynamic motion.
Out of the 64 floors of Wasl Tower, 16 to 38 will be the second Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Dubai (the first in Jumeirah). This award-winning luxury hotel chain will bring its signature oriental charm to its 257 rooms, suites and serviced apartments.
As one of the most exciting new hotels opening in Dubai, Mandarin Oriental has a lot of facilities for a memorable stay. There will be a rooftop sky bar, offering a beautiful view of Dubai, along with a poolside bar, restaurant and Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop.
You can’t have a conversation about Mandarin Oriental without talking about the wellness offerings available.
