About Mina Rashid Port Dubai
Spread over 2 million sq.m., Mina Rashid Port has a capacity to handle seven mega-cruise vessels, accommodating close to 25,000+ passengers. It is the only port in the UAE to have received the prestigious Security Certificate of Excellence by International Maritime Security (IMS) as well as an ISO-9002 accreditation.
Mina Rashid Port has been voted as the most prominent luxury port in the Middle East for the last eight consecutive years in polls conducted by the World Travel Awards.

Port Rashid Dubai Cruise Terminal
Mina Rashid Port is home to the Dubai Cruise Terminal, one of the largest cruise facilities in the world. Featuring five different terminals varying based on their baggage handling space and size, the facility has a capacity to cater to up to 25,000 passengers at once. Various cruise lines including Cunard, Hapag-Lloyd and Holland-America Line have used the Dubai Cruise Terminal.
Hamdan Bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal at Mina Rashid Port in Dubai
Launched in 2014 by DP World, a well-reputed marine cargo handling company, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal is a highly effective cruise docking facility. With a capacity to cater to 14,000 passengers a day, it has emerged as the world’s largest single, covered cruise terminal.
Coastal Berth and General Cargo Facilities in Mina Rashid
Located along traditional trading lanes, Mina Rashid also accommodates several liners specialising in commercial transfers and cargo. It caters to non-containerised cargo such as break-bulk and RoRo vessels. The port lies close to Dubai’s second-hand car markets and gets support and assistance from RTA.
There are five berths for the coastal facility while 15 berths are available for general cargo and RoRo. The berths for the coastal facility are 5 m deep while the ones meant for cargo are up to 10.5 m deep.
The quay length for a coastal facility is 900 m while the general cargo and RoRo facility is 2757 m long, which allows ships to dock to load and unload passengers and cargo pretty easily!
