New work permit fees in UAE
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) announced that they have reduced the fees of a total of 145 services and transactions. A total of 17 UAE government services will see reductions of 50% with some even going down by 94%.
The new UAE government fees will extend to 128 transactions that are conducted by service centres offering ministery services such as TAS’HEEL, TAD-BEER, TWA-FOUQ, TAWJEEH and TAQYEEM. Under the resolution, the MOHRE also said that they will continue to exempt the UAE work permit fees for Emirati or GCC workers and fishing boats facilities.
The aim of this new policy is to boost the productivity of the labour market in the country by offering business owners and entrepreneurs affordable rates, especially for UAE work permit fees.

Hello!
If you want to to work in the UAE, you will need to get an employment visa issued by the company that has hired you. If your purpose to visit is recreational, you can apply for a tourist visa. It’s important to note that you will not able to work on a tourist visa as it is illegal to work in the UAE while you are visiting.
If you have family in the UAE you can ask them to sponsor you, after which you can search for jobs. Once you find a job, you can move to the company’s sponsorship or get a labour card confirming your employment status.
