Kshisha Park: A fun family destination in Sharjah
The Government of Sharjah strives to provide recreational venues where residents and families can connect with nature or have fun outdoors. Kshisha Park, which offers fantastic sports, entertainment and educational facilities, is the latest addition to the list of public parks in the emirate.

ALL ABOUT THE KSHISHA PARK SHARJAH
Kshisha Park Sharjah is a Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) project in Al Rahmaniyah, a peaceful suburb in the city. It was launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi – Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The aim was to provide a venue with an ideal blend of social interactions, entertainment, sports and educational facilities. Right beside Kshisha, there is a female-only park, Shaghrafa Park. Together, the parks cover a combined area of 147,700 sq. m.

The activities on offer at Kshisha Park are designed to enhance the quality of life of Sharjah’s residents and tourists.
DUCK POND
The park’s pond with its many resident ducks is a major attraction, especially as visitors can feed the ducks. Please adhere to the feeding station instructions provided though.
SPORTING FACILITIES
Those interested in sports and a bit of a run around can play football or volleyball. The charges for the football pitch are AED 250 for an hour and AED 450 for two hours. To play volleyball, expect to pay AED 150 for an hour and AED 250 for two hours spent at the designated court. You can also pre-book the football field and volleyball court. OTHER PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
There is a fitness hub, jogging and cycling, tracks for skateboarding and even a hiking trail for fitness enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The good news is that the jogging track remains open 24 hours a day!
KID’S PLAY AREA
Little ones get a dedicated playground too, where they can run around. Different activities are organised for kids periodically.
LIBRARY
Fun at the park isn’t limited to physical activities. Head to the park library if you fancy reading a book on a bench while surrounded by lush green landscapes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CAN VISITORS BRING FOOD TO THE PARK?
Visitors can bring their food, but onsite barbeque is prohibited at the moment. Shurooq is currently working on adding designated barbeque areas at the venue.
WHAT ARE KSHISHA PARK TIMINGS?
The park is open at the following times:
- Sunday to Wednesday – 09:00 am to 10:00 pm
- Thursday to Saturday – 09:00 am to 11:00 pm
Please note that these hours can differ on public holidays and during the holy month of Ramadan. As mentioned earlier, only the jogging track is currently open 24 hours a day.
