This November, our favourite musical extravaganza is coming back to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi…and Korean music lovers are not gonna want to miss it. Yep, that’s right, Hyperound K-Fest 2023 is coming to the Etihad Arena, and it’s shaping up to be something very special.
K-pop, or Korean pop music, has taken the world by storm lately. The combination of great music, awe-inspiring choreographies and excellent production might be the secret formula behind the popularity of this genre – and the reason why fans who may not understand the language ‘stanning’ (a term for the fan following) popular artists, including global stars like BTS, BLACKPINK, Jay Park, SEVENTEEN, and more. You might even remember the global hit song ‘Gangnam Style (강남스타일 in Korean)’ by PSY, which had the highest number of views on YouTube in 2012.
In the K-pop world, these artists are called ‘idols’, as the Korean public tends to idolise these performers.

Hyperound K-Fest will be multi-headlined by at least seven different musical acts, each bringing their signature choreographies and promising exciting performances. Presently, there are no age-related restrictions. However, anyone younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult (over 21 years old). Avoid bringing bags larger than 30 x 30 x 15cm; strollers are not allowed inside the arena.
