Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab: Dubai’s superyacht-inspired resort
Jumeirah is home to iconic resorts and hotels such as the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. So, you can expect the same from the brand new luxury resort, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, ready to grace this pristine coastline. The recently opened destination promises an unforgettable escape for everyone.
With this property, Jumeirah aims to complete its trilogy of iconic and luxurious resorts in the area. Let’s learn more about this project and what it offers.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab: An Overview
The project is a part of Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts Group, a member of Dubai Holdings. Nestled at the tip of Dubai’s most popular private beach, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is a signature luxury resort.
The hotel resembles a futuristic super-yacht with tiered levels forming the bow. The property has 386 rooms and suites, four penthouses and 83 luxury hotel apartment suites with landscaped gardens and other impressive amenities.
More than 40% of the hotel’s rooms will have terrace space larger than 22 square metres. Guests will have countless leisure, entertainment and dining options.
The pièce de résistance is the expansive 11-metre-wide floor-to-ceiling balcony windows in the rooms. These magnificent windows will flood the interiors with natural light while offering panoramic views of the resort’s surroundings.

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab’s Architecture and Interior
Shaun Killa, a Dubai-based architect, designed Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab’s award-winning and unique structure. He has previously worked on several mega projects like the Museum of the Future.
Its external structure resembles that of a mega yacht perched on the coastline of Dubai, with tiered levels forming the bow.
French designer Tristan Auer is the designer of the grand interiors. He skillfully blends sophistication with a subtle nautical inspiration to create a timeless yet captivating space.
Most Expensive Penthouse in Dubai
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is home to one of the most expensive penthouses in Dubai. In May 2023, one of its four penthouses was bought for a record-breaking amount of AED 420 million (US $114 million).
The opulent 24,628 sq. ft. apartment features a private pool, two private lifts, a dedicated lobby, 17,000 sq. ft. of outdoor area and 360-degree views of the iconic Burj Al Arab and Arabian Gulf.
