hI,
I hold Indian passport with Abudhabi residency visa but i am staying in dubai, so is it possible to renew my passport in dubai centers, its expiring on next month due to lock down i cant go Abudhabi.
Hi Ganesh,
Yes, you can renew your passport in Dubai, even if you hold an Abu Dhabi residence visa. However, you will need to carry additional documentation when going to renew your passport, such as your tenancy contract or electricity bill, as proof of address in Dubai. If you are living in company accommodation and don’t have a tenancy contract under your name, you will require a letter from your company stating that you are currently working and residing in Dubai.
We recommend contacting the BLS Centre in Dubai at 04-387-5777 to find out the specific documentation you will require when renewing your passport.
Best of luck!
